  I love fruit but not usually jams or jellies. Generally, they are so sweet the fruit gets lost in all that sugar. Not so w these gems. My favorite, Damsum Plum Jam, is so good that the only thing missing from eating actual plums is the juice running down my arm when I bite in. Mouthwatering is a lackluster word to describe the heavenly flavor I haven't tasted since my grandmother spooned it into my mouth, warm from the stove.

  I LOVE Samson plums. I love Damson plum preserves even more. Used to be you could find them anywhere and they were all good no matter the brand. Now they hard as hen teeth to find. When you do find them they are way too sweet. Your delectable spreads are tart and lip smacking good! Thank you for putting a smile on my face every time I make toast.

  I grew up eating Damson Plum, and I'm a few weeks from 50. I wish it was still in the store,(they do have some) but at least I can still order it here. It was dad's favorite too.

  I have been a devotee of Trappist products for decades, and especially your Damson Plum Jam! I buy it by the case because it's hard to find in Coastal South Carolina. It is unique amongst your fruit jams and preserves; it is neither sweet nor sour, but still has a rich, bold flavor. At the risk of sounding trite . . . it is plummy! By plummy I mean that it is the closest thing I have found that approximates fres plum flavor. Don't you DARE modify the recipe!

  I have been baking cookies that use your plumb preserves for as long as I can remember...then the store I bought from went out of business. I went on your web site I got from the jar I had in my pantry & was able to order. The jars arrived perfectly & I was thrilled. If I use anyone else's preserves, my family lets me know!

  I love this Damson Plum jam. Not too sweet and tiny bit tart. I buy 4-5 jars at a time because only 1 store near me stocks Damson Plum and it is 15 miles away. When the jar is almost empty I add a bit of warm water and shake it up to make a 'syrup' for pancakes. The little jars are also great for reuse as well.

  I grew up on this jam, it was my mom's favorite and became mine as well. I found it again not long ago in a local store, and then it was gone. I am so grateful for the internet, for giving me the tools to find it once again! And thank you Trappists for making this product!

  First time trying this flavor. It's slightly tart yet just sweet enough with a nice, heavy consistency. I used it in cookies and it made for an unexpected, delicious taste and worked perfectly.

  Without question the best damson plum preserves on the market; an exquisite and unforgettable combination of tartness and sweetness. I think the secret is the fruit is the first ingredient. Over the years a number people have lovingly tried to give me damson plum preserves from other sources. I do appreciate their efforts, but nothing compares with Trappist Monk brand of damson plum preserves for taste and consistent quality.

  This jam deserves a rating of 7 out of five! This is, without a doubt, the best jam I have ever eaten in my 51 years. The Damson Plum flavor tastes heavenly. My local markets stopped carrying it two years ago, and I've been pining for it ever since. Now I have found it online, I plan to stock up!!
