  We can't find red currant jelly in stores. Like it's taste and it goes in the recipe for meatball sauce at the holidays. Price was reasonable too.

  My family has used theTrappist Red Currant Jelly for years to make holiday cookies, no other product we have tried compares. However, it is nowhere to be found anymore in our local food stores. Although worth the price of the product,the shipping costs make this a once a year purchase for me. If it was available in my local retail stores, I would buy it all the time for daily use!

  The red currant is my go to jelly. The Monastery brand is the best by far of any red currant I have tried. It is so good, I buy a 12pk case at a time. It is delicious.

  I love the red current jelly I've been buying for more than a few years. Nothing else gives me the feeling of sitting in my grandmother's kitchen, spreadiing current jelly on the German pancakes she made. (They are similar to crepes) Fine product

  Currant jelly is my favorite and it has been disappearing from grocery shelves over the last few years. Crosse and Blackwell, Smuckers, and some store brands made it; but recently, I haven't been able to find it anywhere. I finally found it at Monastery Greetings and they made it so easy to order. You can order whatever number you want. I ordered two, and it is exactly what I was looking for, so I will definitely be ordering more. If you like currant jelly, or just want an easy way to order any other jellies, jams, etc.; I highly recommend Monastery Greetings.

  I have missed things like current and elderberry jams and jellies that you just don't find here in the South. All the jams and jellies I've purchased are much like what my mom used to make - not too sweet, just good.

  I totally love this jelly that's why I always buy it when I am nearing the end of my last 2 or 3 jars. I have been buying this jelly from monastery greetings for quite some time and will continue. I am from Conn. originally but have lived in a few other states. I don't care where I live I will always buy from Monastery greetings.

  Since the red currant jelly that I used for 30+ years was discontinued, I took a chance and purchased 6 jars of Trappist Red Currant Jelly. I'm so glad I did! My meatballs are as tasty as ever!

  Awesome!!! I have been looking all over for currant jelly for a holiday dish that has been a tradition in my family since the mid 1960's. I was unable to locate type in all of our local markets (even some our specialty stores) and so, I went to the internet. Because you still make this, we were able to have our little hot dogs in currant jelly and mustard sauce and I was able to share with my extended family, as well as another friend to whom I introduced the recipe. So, now, you might be getting some orders from them too. Thanks and continue to make this wonderful product.

  We would buy the currant jelly to add to roast beef gravy as well as for breakfast. However we could no longer find it in the super markets.Delighted that we found it on line. Excellent product.

  My local market stopped carrying their brand of currant jelly. I have tried several brands looking for a quality product and this is the only one that is just right, tart enough and not too sweet. Slightly runny but that is a tradeoff for having the proper proportion of fruit and the wonderful taste. Traditional jelly, meant for adults. I'm really grateful to find it still is being made.

  I first tried Trappist Red Current Jelly in Cape May, New Jersey many years ago and immediately fell in love with it. I started my day with coffee, rye toast with crunchy peanut butter and Trappist Red Current Jelly. Yum! My stores in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania had not yet learned about the high quality of Trappist jellies and preserves so I would buy my Jelly in Cape May and cart it to Camp Hill. Now my local stores do carry Trappist products but not my Red Current Jelly. Yes, it does cost a bit more than similar basic brands, but to me it's worth the delicious taste. So, I buy direct from the Trappist Monks. I have tried other products by Trappist and found their taste and quality to be tops. Thank you Trappist Monks for enabling me and others to buy direct.

  Excellent quality currant jelly and it is jelly, not "spread." Spread contains wheat and is probably cheaper to make. I would recommend Monastery jams and jelly to anyone who wants a quality product.

  We had been buying at local Food Store then all of a sudden it was no longer available. We are very thankful to have found you......This is a wonderful sweet tart flavor, not too sweet at all. Enjoy it daily on English Muffin or toast. Thank you and keep on making it. God Bless.
