This anointing oil is a unique blend of pure olive oil from Israel with an essential oil base of Frankincense and Myrrh.

In temple days, sweet incense containing Frankincense was placed on the Inner Altar of the Tabernacle and burned morning and evening. It speaks of intercession.

Myrrh, used as a burial spice and in purification rites, was a primary ingredient of the Holy Anointing Oil. It speaks of suffering and death, but also of our total deliverance in the atoning work of the Messiah.

Superb quality oil

I use this oil with a carrier oil or mixed with Frankincense and Myrrh lotion for muscle pain relief. I also use it in my oil diffuser. The scent is comforting. The oil really helps pain relief and mixing it with lotion makes application especially easy for elderly hands. I've made mixtures for many of my older friends who have difficulty using an oil dropper. I like that the oil is pure and holds even more meaning knowing its sold as anointing oil.
