Description

From Mount St. Mary's Abbey
MAPLE WALNUT PENUCHE

The first monastery of Cistercian Nuns in the U.S. -- famous for their candy-making for almost half a century. "Our candy is a gift of peace and praise of celebration of joy in serving you."

The name is derived from the Spanish word for brown sugar, but its maple flavor makes it a New England favorite. The nuns use cream, walnuts, butter and, of course, real maple syrup to make this delicious treat.

Unique and delicious

I've always loved penuche fudge and adding maple makes everything better. So this fudge is a rare treat with great flavor and a pleasant chewiness.
